Born and bred in a city known for transplants and dream-chasers, Los Angeles’ Grave Secrets’ new album “Til Your Lungs Fall Out” solidifies them at the forefront of a new generation of emo-punk. While they grew up in the heyday of SoCal’s garage-rock moment, Grave Secrets never saw themselves represented on those stages; today, they’re a part of an inspiring, emerging Latino alt-punk community in Los Angeles that’s just beginning to make its mark. They watched bands like Joyce Manor blow up out of South Bay backyards in the early 2010s, and found inspiration in Title Fight, whose grunge/post-hxc/punk was filling basements and VFWs all over the east coast around the same time. Signed to LA-based label Wiretap Records, Grave Secrets' lead up singles saw support from media outlets like Stereogum, New Noise Magazine, and BrooklynVegan and is one of Apple Music's Artists We Love feature.
